James R. Shea

Jim is the co-founder and CEO of the Cyber Defense Institute, Inc. an organization that provides computer security training, consulting and professional services for the government, military and corporate sectors. Jim was the founder and Director of the Center for Business Information Technologies (CBIT) at Syracuse University where he spent 15 years developing, managing and marketing information technology (IT) training and consulting services to fortune 1000 companies as well as small and mid-size businesses.  Jim holds a Masters degree in Information Resource Management from Syracuse University’s School of Information Studies and he has completed his coursework for a PhD in Instructional Design, Development and Evaluation at Syracuse University.
